Won't Back Down

Disability rights in Johannesburg

Won't Back Down One man's quest for an accessible South Africa.
Stanley Morgan was a noble police officer serving in Johannesburg until a shooting left most of his body paralysed. Not one to be defeated, Stanley turned his efforts from fighting crime to fighting the inequalities faced by thousands of disabled people in South Africa's largest city. Teaming up with other people with disabilities as well as disabled charities, Stanley's mission is not only to make Johannesburg a more accessible place to live, but to guarantee the rights of disabled people nationwide.
