In Florida, millions of senior citizens from across the country are enjoying a golden retirement. Here at St. Pete Beach, the volume of elderly people has led locals to nickname the place "God’s waiting room." But this has all changed since the arrival of some "bad boys" in town!

Here Richard, Curtis and Fred are thought of as "troublemakers" and silver-haired ladies are dropping their knitting needles in favour of dollar bills for their senior strip show!

“ We do not pretend to be Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly. We are a group of friends and we want to have some good times. We have fun, the audience has fun and we raise money to help the needy so there’s three ways we benefit with forever young"

More than an hour before the doors open, the first spectators, mostly widows with perfectly coiffed hair, are already in attendance, desperate to get a bird’s eye view.

Lady 1: "I think it will be nice and funny"
Jacques: "They’re like the Chippendales? "
Lady 1: "Well they’re older chippendales"

Lady 2: "They are silly, they’re naughty but they’re not vulgar at all"

Lady 3:
"A friend asked me if I remembered the Chippendales, I said oh yes! Well it's like that she said. In an instant I replied: I'm going! "

Lady 2:
"10 dollars to see them, it's not very expensive and it is always better than being alone sitting in front of the TV"

It is now more than 10 years since the men first started stripping.

With an entry price of around 8 euros, the seats are always full…and the ‘bad boys’ are available in print form as well. The formula may be familiar, made famous by films such as ‘The Full Monty’, but what is it about these particular dancers, which causes such a stir?  In a few months the company can make more than 12 000-euros and grey-haired groupies follow them from show to show.

Clausen’s brainchild, the "Forever Young Dancers", has become a veritable institution in Florida.

Curtis gets the room going ... Until it’s ready for the hour long strip show ...

Fun aside, being a forever young dancer is hard work. The ‘boys’ not only have to master the complicated dance routines, but they have to be sure to watch those waistlines…because during the show, many of their excitable groupies shove dollar bills into their g-strings.

It’s an All- American show, complete with music and a steamy atmosphere ...

But Richard, Curtis and Fred don’t receive payment for their seductive antics. All admission fees and even tips, go towards helping the homeless.

the bashful, who always end up letting go..

And the regulars, who simply come here to have fun with their friends...

and then of course, there are the groupies, who can’t contain their excitement for these sexy senior citizens!

"The funniest part? It’s all of it ... I mean they are like us, there is no difference, but they are entertaining. Beautiful, beautiful "

For Fred and his dancers, the secret of eternal youth is a life led without inhibitions, .... The baby of the group is in his 60s, yet the forever young dancers show no signs of slowing down…

I’m going to be 79 my next birthday and I’m going to dance for as long as I can because that’s why we call ourselves the Forever Young because we like the age part- that’s what attracts the audience, that we have the energy to go out and have a good time ‘’.
