Blood, Sweat and Tears
Illegal immigrants exploited in South African sweat shops
Expose of immigrant workers forced to suffer sweat shop conditions, at the hands of Johannesburg's more unscrupulous factory owners.
One peanut factory does not even give workers enough time to eat or wash themselves, despite them constantly handling food. Because the workers have no ID or official right to work in South Africa, they are unable to complain or go to the police. They are essentially prisoners of their employers.
