Ordinary residents of Soweto struggle with unemployment and poverty on a daily basis. To make things worse, young men are now embracing violent gang culture, determined to make a better life for themselves. To them, criminal activity offers a lifestyle of expensive clothes, “street bashes”, drugs, alcohol and beautiful girls.
