Every day more and more American casualties from Iraq arrive at the military hospitals in Germany.
“President Bush said major combat operations were over on 1 May. In all honesty, May, June and July were probably our busiest months,” states surgeon Dr. Ronald Place. Many of the injured American soldiers being treated in Germany are beginning to question whether the War on Terror is worth the great personal sacrifices made by the US armed forces. Some have come to the conclusion that it is a war that the US can never win.
