Every night, an exodus of thousands flee from their villages to the town of Gulu. They seek refuge from the violent massacres and abductions carried out by the LRA. For Thomas, escape has come at a high price. He peels back bandages to reveal his amputated lips. The army has already abducted over 8,000 children who are brainwashed into becoming killers themselves. "Sometimes I dream about the three people I killed," sighs one abductee.
