The coastal villages of Thailand used to pride themselves on their self-reliance. But since the Tsunami, local fishermen are too frightened to go back to work.
Ari Fongsaten looks out to a sea he no longer trusts. He's lucky to be alive but his boat was destroyed, leaving him with no means of earning an income. Even if Ari could work, there's little demand for fish which may have fed on the bodies of the dead.
