With speed cameras becoming more sophisticated, few people are willing to put their foot down. But there is one place where you can still let rip - the great salt deserts of Australia.
"I guess I've always wanted to go fast. That's just something that I love," states John Lynch. He's come to the Great Salt Desert to try and crack the 300 mph - 480 kph - barrier. As Lynch explains: "Anybody can come here and have a go, whether they are trying to go 50mph or 150mph or 300mph."
