Missing Children
This film draws attention to the worrying number of black children gone missing in London in the past years. After the mutilated body of a black boy was found in the Thames in 2001, Scotland Yard found out that about three hundred schoolchildren have disappeared without a trace over the past few years. All of them were living with foster families and only a handful were declared missing. Although no one knows what may have happened to them, there are fears that they may be used as slaves or handed from one family to another so that pseudo foster parents can claim benefits. Unfortunately, the lack of compulsory identification cards in Britain allows unscrupulous traffickers to exploit gaps and loopholes in their favour.
