Australian model maker John Cox uses animatronics to create alive-looking monsters straight out of his rich imagination. Combining model-making with electronics, his models are very popular in the film industry and have featured in many science-fiction and fantasy productions. In 1995, he won an Oscar for his work in 'Babe'. Today, he's organised an exhibition to show both industry professionals and the public how his creations are made. For him though, the real purpose of this show is to fire children's imagination so that 'they can come home, get out their play dough and make a mess.'
