Hezbollah is the de facto government in Southern Lebanon. "It helps us with schools, construction, farming," explains Ahmed Naser. Money for its social programmes comes from its business empire, which includes a chain of supermarkets and travel agencies. In last year's national election, it won 11% of the seats in the Lebanese parliament.
