Their mother and grandmother were killed immediately. Sarah barely survived. But her future is bleak because the attack ruined her chances of having children. "She's already been through excruciating pain but she will suffer more in future", predicts her father. Shortly before the attack, he received a letter from Al Qaeda threatening to target his family if he didn't leave his job. Worried he wouldn't find more work, he ignored it. "I paid a dead price. My wife was killed and child disabled."
