"We are always on the look out for different sources of water", explains Yap Kheng Guan from the Public Utilities board. The country imports half its water supply from Malaysia. But in four years, that contract will expire. Now Singapore is experimenting with unorthodox water supplies, like treated sewage. As one woman boasts; "I have been drinking it every day and I'm still alive".
