Non-Violence In Action

Non-Violence In Action Made in 1986, this documentary chronicles the most important episodes in the international non-violent movement of the late 1970s and 1980s
Opening on shots of the peace camp at RAF Molesworth, an epicentre of non-violent direct action during contemporary anti-nuclear protests, the film details the People Power Revolution in the Philippines, apartheid resistance in late 1970s Soweto, artistic clashes between Republicans and Loyalists in Northern Ireland and the resilient Women's Camp at Greenham Common.

Activist Father Jose Blanco observed, "The non-violent activist must to able to propose alternatives to the one who is oppressive".
