Hip-Hop Revolution

Hip-Hop Revolution Growing up in Tripoli isn't easy. As one of Lebanon's most volatile sectarian fault lines, it is a divided city. Yet two young rappers, one Sunni, one Shia, are determined to bridge the gap through their music.
"We present to people the art of Tripoli. An art that has never been about guns, bullets, killing, blood or wars", says 20-year old Bob. Bob and Asso are part of a new generation fighting against the sectarian violence in Tripoli. They may be from warring neighbourhoods, but at their club hip-hop and dance act as a white flag. "They sing for women's rights, the environment, children, Tripoli against sectarianism and violence."
