In the summer of 2023, an unprecedented tornado of 217 km/h violently swept through La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. In just a few minutes, the storm destroyed an entire city; demolishing buildings, smashing cars, and flattening forests. But beyond the material damage, what happened to the victims? Far from being cured, they continue to live with the after-effects of the trauma, and remind us that we are all at the mercy of the next climate-related catastrophe.
