36 Seconds: Portrait of a Hate Crime

Fighting for the truth in the worst of circumstances

36 Seconds: Portrait of a Hate Crime In 2015, it took Craig Hicks 36 seconds to kill three Muslim-American students in their home. This doc follows their families’ agonizing shift from trauma to advocacy as they struggle to keep the murders from being dismissed as a parking dispute. They courageously speak out on the hate crime that has destroyed their lives, the insidious ways racism plays out in our society, and the need to reform a broken system.
