The Green Dam

The Green Dam Since the end of Apartheid many white South Africans have struggled to get by. The removal of their safety net has sent around a quarter into poverty.
The Green Dam is a place where many of the newly destitute and unemployed white South Africans congregate. There, food banks hand out survival packages and a movement has emerged to protect the interests of the poor white south Africans. This movement is called Solidarity and helps to defend the housing rights of their community.
