All eyes were on Ohio in this year's US election... whoever won the state was also expected to win the Presidency. In this report, we went on a road trip to meet grassroots voters, and ask who they were backing and why.
In the industrial heartland, dominated by steel works and motor manufacturing, a massive injection of federal money saved thousands of jobs... and Obama gets their vote. But in the conservative rural areas, support for the Republicans is equally strong. At a Romney rally, voters are vehemently opposed to Obama.
All the while, the state was polling on a knife edge...
