Nudity is still a taboo subject in Iran. But the risky work being done by nude models and female photographers proves it's not taboo for all. Behind closed doors nothing is off-limits.
"I extract the truth. I'm not trying to make it graceful or seem like a fantasy", says nude photographer, Mouchette. She sees her frank imagery as a way of combating the sexualisation of the body, whether it is male or female. "My parents don't know about it at all, they think I'm making movies and doing street photography", says Mouchette.
