Where the Highway Ends
American Indians from the Navajo Indians of the Southwest provide an insight into their beliefs and way of life in this deeply spiritual film.
The past 300 years have brought many changes to the Navajo's daily existence and their modern leaders are greatly concerned that ancient philosophies may not survive much longer. The great traditions of the past have been superceded by the all-enveloping behemoth of American globalisation. With the youth of the nation enchanted by American culture and the Navajo language itself becoming eroded the Navajo people ask themselves what the future holds.
