Stop at Nothing The staggering story of the man behind the greatest fraud in sporting history. Lance Armstrong sacrificed everything in his ruthless pursuit of fame and success, leaving friends, colleagues and conscience at the side of the road. This doc exposes dirty scandals and corrosive conspiracies, revealing how Armstrong convinced the world he was a hero. But those friends whose lives he destroyed would fight back, and ultimately prove to be his downfall.

At the film's heart is a portrait of a man who will stop at nothing in pursuit of money, fame and success. It reveals how Armstrong duped the world with his story of a miraculous recovery from cancer to become a sporting icon and a beacon of hope for cancer sufferers; how Lance's cheating and bullying become more extreme; and how a few brave souls fought back, until eventually their voices were heard.

The film reveals how Armstrong's cheating was the centre of a grand conspiracy - in which Lance and his backers sought to steal one of the greatest sporting events in history. It shows what happens when a close-knit group of friends shares a secret and how that secret corrodes their friendship, destroying marriages, careers and lives.

The Producers


Alex Holmes began his career producing TV investigations. He won two Royal Television society awards on current affairs show World in Action, then Alex joined the BBC in 1998 where he established a new investigative program making unit. In 2000 he became a Creative Director in the BBC Documentaries and Investigations department. Alex then returned to his first passion, directing. He wrote and directed 'Dunkirk', a three part World War II mini series for the BBC, which won Alex his first BAFTA as a director. After which he co-wrote and directed the drama 'House of Saddam' for HBO and BBC, set in the inner circle of Saddam Hussein, which earned him several BAFTA and EMMY nominations and won the Grierson Drama Documentary Award in 2009.
