Charities taking the strain in migrant crisis
In the North of France the migrant situation is getting worse day by day. People are constantly dying at sea and on British shores. Charity 'Care For Calais' helps to keep the migrants fed and away from human traffickers, but they are fighting an uphill battle
Increasingly charities are filling the void left by lack of government support for the thousands of migrants arriving in France. Violence, lack of food and water and human trafficking are rife in the migrant camps in Calais. "For the past 6 months I have been told my life was in danger," says Iranian refugee Anvar. "We came to live in peace."
