The Monkey Boy
Thailand | 2003
Lopburi, 200 km north of Bangkok is home to 600 macaques. Here, monkeys are sacred and the town provides them with bed and board. The temple of Sam Yod, 16, belongs to the macaques and that is where they spend most of their time. It is also where Sam lives - the macaques adopted him over eight years ago and have brought him up ever since.
