In this film we witness the violent struggle of miners trying to save their jobs in what became one of the biggest public disturbances this country has ever seen.
It is 1943 and Germany are bombing London as civilians shelter in Piccadilly tube station. The aftermath shows the damage as people clear up. Meanwhile we witness the Germans including Hitler and Goering planning. There is also a look at the Women's Auxiliary Air Force and Women's Auxillary Territorial Service.
